Xia Lin
is the current Division Chief in Income Tax Department, China
State Administration of Taxation. As a key member of the income
tax reform group, she played an important role in drafting the
new Enterprise Income Tax Law and its detailed rules, with a
focus on tax incentives. She is also a frequent speaker for
international seminars on behalf of China State Administration
of Taxation..
Xia
Lin involved
heavily in making policy regarding income
tax for foreign investment enterprises and foreign enterprises.Her
work spammed through basic rules and cooperation with Organization
for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International
Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, Study Group on Asian Tax Administration
and Research (SGATAR), etc.
Xia
Lin joined
State Administration of Taxation in 1989, and worked in the
Tax Collection and Administration Division in the International
Taxation Department for 5 years. Later, she was transferred
to the Income Tax Division in the International Taxation Department
in 1994 and worked for 6 years.In 2000, She began to work
in the Exchange of Information and Cooperation Division in
the International Taxation Department.In 2004,
she became the Division Chief of Income Tax Department.
Xia
Lin was
educated at Political Science and Law University of China, and
Saitama University of Japan, specialized in economic law and tax
policy analysis.
